Cares: Hurricane Katrina Relief

With strong ties to New Orleans, Big Ernie's Rib Shack helped
raise funds for hurricane relief and demonstrated compassion
for Hurricane Katrina victims. Dixieland music, jazz, Creole
food, and other reminders of New Orleans were used to raise
money for Hurricane Katrina victims. The event was held in
downtown Escondido at Grand Avenue and Broadway.
All funds raised went directly to Hurricane Katrina relief
through the American Red Cross and International Association
of Fire Fighters Disaster Relief fund.
